Biography:
Ning Li obtained his B.Sc. from Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently a Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY. His research interests include semiconductor materials and devices for electronics and optoelectronics, flexible and new form factor devices and systems, materials and devices for non-volatile memory and neuromorphic computing, etc. He was granted more than 200 US and worldwide patents. He received multiple IBM High Value Patent Awards, more than fifty IBM Invention Achievement Awards, and multiple Master Inventor Awards. He has published more than 80 publications in distinguished journals and conferences. His work has been featured on Nature Research Highlight, Semiconductor Today, Nanowerk most popular spotlight article, etc. He served on international conference committees, on the editorial board for Nanophotonics, and as an editor for MRS Advances.
